Founder's Message to our  ZeroBorder Community

Han S. Kim

Han immigrated to the United States from South Korea at the age of four, growing up in humble circumstances, working alongside his family on farms in Portland, Oregon. His early years were shaped by resilience — picking fruit and vegetables, navigating schoolyard fights, and finding joy in simple pleasures like playing American football in the rain and classic video games with friends.

Raised on public school lunches and forged by a very different America, Han's perspective was shaped early by hardship — forging a strong sense of purpose, independent thinking, and the drive to build a better future. He learned that identity isn’t inherited; it’s proven by the choices we make, especially when it's hardest to stand alone."

An above-average student with a diverse and accomplished background, Han has built a career spanning emerging technologies, insurance, finance, hospitality, and medicine. His journey reflects a deep commitment to growth, perseverance, and building a freer, better future — not just for himself, but for his children, his loved ones, and for others who share the dream of something greater.

my experience of theft and scams led to this project freedom and revolution

This project was born from a deeply personal mission: to protect what’s mine. I’ve been a victim—of theft, scams, unjust government garnishments, and banks shutting down my accounts without warning or explanation. I’ve watched hidden fees pile up just to access or move my own money, trapped in a system I never truly chose—one that offered no real alternative.

So we built one.

A transparent, accountable, decentralized banking system—where no one can take what’s yours, and every person becomes their own self-sovereign bank. No middlemen. No hidden agendas. Just full control, real freedom, and shared responsibility.

The only bank I trust is the one I own. So we created a tech for everyone to own their own bank—with built-in governance that keeps us honest and united in protecting one another. This isn’t just a platform. It’s a movement.
